The Kirkwood Public Library offers a variety of resources and activities that are tailored to teens.

From free classes and after school programs to unique technology and volunteering opportunities, there’s something for everyone. Explore more below including our calendar of upcoming teen-focused events.

Volunteer at the Library

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Kirkwood Public Library! Summer volunteering is available for teens entering 7th-12th grade. 7th and 8th graders will typically work one one-hour shift a week, and 9th-12th graders will typically work one two-hour shift a week. Volunteers will assist with shelving, passing out prizes, program prep, and more!

Big Buddy volunteering is available for teens entering 7th-12th grade. Big Buddies will be a reading mentor to a child going into 1st-4th grade.ย Volunteering with Reading Buddies can fulfill A+ hours.
