100th Anniversary Local Author Book Fair

December 12 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

On an orange background with three blue books placed at angles. There is text in black that says, "Book" and in white at an angle it says "Fair." In black text next to fair it says "2025. December 12th." There are graphical people dressed trendily walking around the books with books in their hands. Next to one of the blue graphical books it says "Kirkwood Public Library. 6PM - 8PM" and below that it says "kplmo.org/events." At the bottom in the lefthand corner is a black and red Kirkwood Public Library logo and in the lower right-hand corner is a black and red logo that says "all are welcome here."

Join us as we kick off the celebration of our library’s 100th anniversary with a special Local Author Book Fair!

This festive event highlights the incredible talent in our community — meet local authors, pick up signed copies of their books, and find unique holiday gifts for the readers in your life. Throughout the evening, enjoy engaging panel discussions where authors will share their creative process, writing journey, and insights into their work.

It’s the perfect way to start the season — and our centennial — by celebrating stories, community, and the power of local voices. Free and open to all!

Advanced registration is available and will close on December 8, 2025. Advanced registration will get you access to refreshments and a 100th anniversary swag item TBD.

Please note: This is an after-hours event at the library. Some areas of the library will be closed, and you will not be able to check out library items as our systems will be turned off.
