Every year the Kirkwood Public Library receives funding through many different grants to enhance library programs and services. The items below were awarded as part of a 2025 Technology Ladder Grant which began in May 2025 and runs through April 2026.
We’ve added several new mobile hotspots to our collection. The Franklin T10 is a powerful 4G LTE solution for home, small business, and more. Cellular connectivity means no-hassle Wi-Fi wherever there’s coverage and allows “on-the-go” convenience wherever customers live, work, or travel.

Available for use in the library, our new Epson Perfection V850 Pro Scanner provides professional-quality scans that make it simple to digitally archive virtually any original. This scanner is capable of scanning photos, film strips and 35mm slides in up to 4800dpi. Find this near Public Computer 09 next to our EZ Scan station. The device is available for use at any time – no appointment necessary. However, an appointment may be required should you need assistance with the device.
This project is supported by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the LSTA as administered by the Missouri State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State.
