We’re thrilled to share that Kirkwood Public Library has been awarded a $7,100 grant from the Edward Chase Garvey Memorial Foundation to continue our annual One Author, One Kirkwood program. This generous support makes it possible to bring nationally recognized authors—who might not otherwise visit St. Louis—to our community. Each year, this signature event invites readers across Kirkwood and the greater St. Louis area to come together around an author’s work, sparking meaningful conversations on timely social themes. We are deeply grateful for this funding, which ensures we can continue growing this beloved program and connecting through the power of books.
