Library’s Second Expansion 1964-2009

By Nick  |
The library’s second expansion, as a result of the passage of the 1962 bond issue, occurred in 1964. This created an addition on the south side of the building further adding to the space and allowing the library to greatly expand its collection. The addition cost $115,000. The library remained relatively the same for the next 45 years. These images taken in the 1990’s and 2000’s show how the building looked during this era of library history.

Pardon our Mess!

We are replacing our carpet, during which time: the main floor has limited access, computers are unavailable (we have limited printing capabilities), patron holds and the Reference desk are relocated.
