Kirkwood author Anne Shaw Heinrich will celebrate the release of her second novel, Violet is Blue, with a presentation and book signing. Violet is Blue follows the 2024 release of Heinrich’s debut novel, God Bless the Child. Both books are part of a three-book series, The Women of Paradise County.

Heinrich will read a few select passages from Violet is Blue, tell the story about winding her way toward traditional publishing and provide a sneak peek into some of the series’ most compelling, quirky characters and themes, including complicated family relationships, the capricious nature of small town living, and how the haves and have-nots dance more closely than we think. After a Q & A session, copies of God Bless the Child and Violet is Blue can be purchased and signed by the author.
