Adults (Ages 18 and Up)

Level 1: 1,000 pages

  • A copy of The Payback by Kashana Cauley

  • Entry for a Downtown Kirkwood gift card

Level 2: 2,000 pages

  • Completion prize: A coupon for Mini Popcorn Bag from Kirkwood Popco
  • Entry for the grand prize: Missouri History Museum Membership

Level 3: 2,500 pages

  • Extra entry for the grand prize
  • Raffle ticket to be used in any of the prize bundles (see what you could win at the Reference desk)

Completing extra challenges also earns one raffle ticket, which counts as one entry towards a prize bundle. Visit the library during open hours to claim your raffle ticket and enter the drawing of your choice!

  • Screening the Story: Submit a title of movie adapted from a book.

  • Reading Bingo: Submit activities that make up a row in the bingo board.

  • Unearth a Thing: Check an item from the library of things and submit what was checked out.

  • Dig into New Voices: Read a title from an underrepresented minority and submit title.

  • Step into the Story: Attend a library program and submit a secret word.

  • Rate the Read: Write a book review for a book that was read this summer. Only have to write 5 lines.

  • Discover the Conversation: Listen to an episode of the KPL Podcast and submit the secret word.


Babies (Ages Birth to 3)

Little ones can participate in their very own Summer Reading program. Get a printable game goard below or pick up a copy at the library. Merely track the reading you do with your baby to win prizes!
